I am a student at Warwick University where I have been president of our snooker club twice and part of the committee for the last 5 years.
My highest break in competitive matches is 66 but more to come soon (I hope).
Every year there is a National Universities Championships which is the best snooker weekend anywhere!

I simply love the game of snooker. I live in Canada and half of my family live in Leicester, England. My uncle's freind sposors mnay of the top snooker players, and he has a video of him playing Stephen Hendry and Gary Wilkinson in his friend's home! I never got ance to play with any of the professionals, simply because my uncle's friend moved to Jersey Island and sold his company (the Swaeter Shop) which sponsored the players. The rolls royce Stephen Hendry won a while ago was awarded to him from my uncle's freind, as well as many other grand prizes after winning championships..

I love the game of snooker. It is a game of skill
and precision, and competition. For me, I have just
recently started playing. Unlike regular pool like 8-ball,
and 9-ball which are played on smaller tables with bigger
pockets, it is very enjoyable to be able to play on a table
which takes a great deal of concentration and effort.

Ok Hendry did it again. He wins ANOTHER tournement. The RegalWelsh. Isn't he a great player. By the way I'm from Holland and play snooker as well. My highest break is 67. In line-up i made a 132 clearance last wednesday. I was really very happy and couldn't pot a ball for half an hour. I was shaking from top to bottom. It was a really great experiance. Love the game of Snooker. Have now played for over 43 years. I play everyday at home as well as away. I love to promote the game and have set up many league and tournaments. I also play in the I.S.L. International Snooker League, with the likes of Ken Shea and Ray Saunders of Nova Scotia. Keep up the good work. I was fortunate to have played an Exhibition frame with Stephen Hendry in Aberdeen Scotland in May of 96. Guess who won?

I am a new surfer and just came upon your excellent
site. My father introduced me to snooker when I was
5 years oldand 67 years later I still enjoy it.
Unfortunately my game has lost quite a bit of its
sharpness as has my eyesight. We get a good deal
of TV coverage in Canada and I think Steven Hendry
will go down in history as the best ever. Good

Hello, I am desparately trying to find a venue in London where my firm can hold a snooker evening for clients. We require about 6 tables. Last year we abandoned our annual snooker event because we could not find anywhere we could hire for an evening and our clients were very disappointed. It appears that most of the snooker clubs have shut down.

Does anyone out there know of such a place?
