Stephen Hendry finished of this amazing match with his fourth 147 break in professional competition.

All in all there were 7(!) centuries in this thrilling encounter. Four of them made by the number one Scot. For his win he received 30,000. His charity, the National Playbus Association, collected 100,000, plus a special maximum break donation of 20,000 from the WPBSA. Hendry himself didn't get anything extra for the maximum. O'Sullivan got 20,000 as runner-up.

Prior to the final frame Ronnie O'Sullivan had fought his way back from 8-2 down to level the match at 8-8. But with his concluding maximum the reigning world champion once again showed us all why he is the best player in the world.
