Just a couple of lines about myself for your records...
I am a student at Warwick University where I have been president of our snooker club twice and
part of the committee for the last 5 years.
My highest break in competitive matches is 66 but more to come soon (I hope).
Every year there is a National Universities Championships which is the best snooker weekend
anywhere!

Hi I am Remko, an economy student from Holland, who also
plays some snooker. My question is: how to get better when
you are playing a year and a half. (highest break is just
25, average break between 10 and 20). What is the best way
to make higher breaks. I still can win most of my matches,
but I just want to play better.

I simply love the game of snooker. I live in Canada and half of my family live in Leicester, England. My uncle's freind sposors mnay of the top snooker players, and he has a video of him playing Stephen Hendry and Gary Wilkinson in his friend's home! I never got ance to play with any of the professionals, simply because my uncle's friend moved to Jersey Island and sold his company (the Swaeter Shop) which sponsored the players. The rolls royce Stephen Hendry won a while ago was awarded to him from my uncle's freind, as well as many other grand prizes after winning championships..

I love the game of snooker. It is a game of skill
and precision, and competition. For me, I have just
recently started playing. Unlike regular pool like 8-ball,
and 9-ball which are played on smaller tables with bigger
pockets, it is very enjoyable to be able to play on a table
which takes a great deal of concentration and effort.
By the way, you have a cool web site!

Ok Hendry did it again. He wins ANOTHER tournement. The RegalWelsh. Isn't he a great player. By the way I'm from Holland and play snooker as well. My highest break is 67. In line-up i made a 132 clearance last wednesday. I was really very happy and couldn't pot a ball for half an hour. I was shaking from top to bottom. It was a really great experiance. I am a new surfer and just came upon your excellent
site. My father introduced me to snooker when I was
5 years oldand 67 years later I still enjoy it.
Unfortunately my game has lost quite a bit of its
sharpness as has my eyesight. We get a good deal

Hello, I am desparately trying to find a venue in London where my firm can hold a snooker
evening for clients. We require about 6 tables. Last year we abandoned our annual snooker event
because we could not find anywhere we could hire for an evening and our clients were very
disappointed. It appears that most of the snooker clubs have shut down.

I'm probably the biggest belgian fan of Stephen Hendry:he's just the best in the whole world!!!
I've seen him in belgium in 1988 or 1989 and then I said:'he wil be
number one and ofcourse he did it!! I play snooker myself and
sometimes like last week it goes very well:I reached the semi-final of
a tournament in belgium. I wish all the players the very best for this

I like this site very much, the information is correct and very up-to-date. I play snooker in
the second division from the SBAN (the Snooker and Billiards Association from the Netherlands).
With our team we play in the area between Den Helder and Amsterdam. On this moment we are stated

In Dominican Republic (that's where i live) snooker is almost an unkown trasure because, with
the exception of myself, everybody else don't know what a wonderfull form of playing billiards
snooker is; I don't belive if there's even a table in this country, but i have played it in USA
with some friends about 2 years ago and i relly liked it. Me and a couple of friends are working
right know in the formation of the first billiards asoc. of DR, so if there's some ideas that
could help us improve and integrate more people into this i will be glad to know.

Hi there Snooker-fans all over the world. My name is Geert Waterlander and I live in Holland. I play some serious snooker now for about half a year and I must say: what i nice game it is!!
To get some Snooker-books seems to be quit difficult. I go practicise 2 times a week and that helps to get better in this difficult game.
My highest break now is 25 but soon that will be higher (I hope). Well this site here is very great for all of us Snookerfans. Love to surf here!!

Have watched games from Canada on the TV some years
ago. Too bad they're not publicized as much so you'd
know when and where to look. Snooker is not played
anywhere locally or in western New York, other than
Canada, that I know of. Crossing the border is only
minutes away. Fascinating game, better than 8-ball. A
"gentleman's" game!

Well done!! I am snooker fan from Edmonton, Canada. I picked up the game when I was at school
at Bekhamsted, Herts in England 12 years ago. I have been playing it since and I have to say it
is a very intersting sport and deserves more credits than just a British sport. Most of my
friends hhere play pool but I have been able to convert a few of them into "snooker-holic". We
usually practise once or twice a week. My favorite player was Jimmy White, however, I have grown
to like this young fellow Stephen Hendry and he is an absolutely phenomenon snooker player. I
wish him all the success in his career. I also want to wish Jimmy White to win his first ever
World Championship in Sheffield, England next April. Thanks for all your work and good luck!!

Great site, In Belgium I play snooker at least once a week
and I still enjoy it as much as the first time I played it
10 years ago. When there's snooker on the television nothing
can get me out of my coach. My personal favourit is still
Jimmy Whirlwind White. So I hope you like my contribution to

I am Japanese. I used to live in London for 2 years. While I was there I always bed on Jimmy White every year.
It means that I donate a lot of money to Britsh economy.
I love playing snooker but it is very difficult to find snooker tables in
Japan.

Believe it or not, here in Tallahassee, Florida, USA, we have a 5 X 10 table. Everyone plays with 5 pots and the 6 ball, but it's more challenging playing with all 15 pots. I've been playing for about 3 months now and my high run is 30.

I started playing snooker in order to become a better 8-ball and 9-ball player
but now I am hooked on snooker and I will be the worlds all around best cueist someday
(hows that for confidence) anyway what I would like to see is more instuctional info on the web
with maybe training or practice shots people can try on their own. I know what your going to say
cueists don't like to share because they are scared others will become better than them. Maybe
but if the people who love this sport want to see it grow and flourish to the point where it is bigger than baseball
we must premote learning and awareness of the sport to more people
thanks for the oportunity to speak my mind although I realize that snooker is huge in the UK there is no reason why all
cue sports shouldn't be competing with anything you see on sports channels here in North America
