Final

Mark J Williams (Wales) 9-5 Euan Henderson (Scotland)

66-8, 9-77, 46-60, 70-15, 101-4, 78-9, 64-53,
72-9, 1-72, 64-31, 22-109, 25-65, 138-0, 71-4
This is Williams' second ranking title following his victory in last year's Regal Welsh Open.

He pockets 60,000 for the win plus another 5,000 for the highest break, a 138 total clearance in the 13th frame.

Henderson can't be too discouraged even though he lost in his first major final. His prize of 32,000 is three times greater than anything he has won in his career.

This is only the second time that a Welshman wins the event. Ray Reardon was the first, in the very first edition in 1982. A list of all the finals is available.
