Here is an overview of how the current top 16 fared in ranking tournaments in the
1994/95 season and also how this affected their
ranking. You can see the number of tournament wins and
runner-up spots for each player and how many semifinals and quarterfinals they reached. Their
success in the "majors" (the UK Championship and the
World Championship) is also shown. Finally you can see all the
players' win-loss records and win percentages.
It's quite interesting to see how dominating these 16 have been. They shared every
one of the finalist spots between them. They occupied 30 of the 36 semi-final spots and 54 of
the 72 quarter-final places. The tendency is even clearer in the majors. Andy Hicks was
the only other player to reach the semi-finals. He accomplished this in the World Championship, where he lost to Nigel Bond.
