With Mark J Williams beating Hossein Vafaei in the last 16 today a magical streak continues. Since 1995 the quarterfinals of the World Championship have featured at least one player from the Class of 92 (Williams, Higgins, OSullivan). This was the 31st year in a row then! #snooker

Allen's win over Thor in the World Open quals on Sun 22 Dec was the last match we covered in 2024. The first one was K Wilson's win over Bingham in Group One of the Championship League on Tue 2 Jan. In total we covered 6,146 matches in 2024. In addition 2,348 matches from older events were added.

Yet another amazing fact about Judd Trump. He hasnt lost a deciding frame in a ranking event for more than a year. Thats nine straight wins! The last one to beat him in a decider was Hammad Miah. On 26 Sep 2023 he won 4-3 in the British Open. snooker.org/res/index.asp?season=-1&player=12
